Meet our Missionaries
Evangelical Church in Plasa, Albania
The members of the Evangelical Church of Plasa in Albania are committed to following Jesus and sharing His Gospel with their Muslim village and beyond. Under the leadership of Crossing Church missionaries Luke and Lydia Valenti, Albanians came to know the Lord, be baptized, discipled and began reaching out to their own community. The Plasa church celebrated its first church service in 2016, and ministers to the village through children and youth ministries and Bible studies for all ages.
The church in Plasa is now under the leadership of Xhentil and Victoria Kora. Xhentil came to know the Lord out of a Muslim background. He and other leaders from the church have an incredible heart for reaching Albanians with the Gospel of Christ. They also have a ministry to children and the youth in the neighboring village of Kuc.
Crossing Church sent a team of 5 to the Plasa Church to aid in leadership development in their various ministries and outreach to surrounding communities in the summer of 2021. For a glimpse of some of the team’s activities click HERE.
Sean & Vita Mason
– Korce, Albania
Sean has spent roughly half his life in Albania and has dual citizenship there and in the United States. He and his wife, Vita, are the lead pastors of Emanuel Foursquare Church, located in the center of the city of Korce. In addition to pastoring, Sean is the vice-president of the National Foursquare Board in Albania. He is responsible for assisting in the church planting process and training leaders to pastor Albanian churches.
Vita is a native Lithuanian who served on mission to both West Africa and Thailand before marrying Sean and serving the Albanian people. They have four children: Eva, Oliver, Eleanora and Zigmas.
Compassion First
Compassion First is an international ministry created in the early 2000s to deal with the heartbreaking reality that children were being bought and sold for sex around the world. Compelled by compassion, they began to seek ways to be a part of the solution.
After conducting extensive research they chose to focus on Indonesia, where child trafficking between islands thrives amidst law enforcement challenges.
They work through a holistic approach of prevention, survivor care and government collaboration.

Joshua and Hailey Wood
– Foursquare Missionaries to Croatia
Joshua and Hailey have lived in the Pacific Northwest their whole lives. Hailey grew up in Crossing Church and was a very faithful part of our youth group and the prayer ministry at Redmond H.S. She is an RN, while Joshua has worked with troubled youth and in business. They met while serving together on a medical team in Niger, Africa, in 2016. Both Joshua and Hailey have faithfully served their church through children and young adult ministry, worship team, business council, and missions work.
Joshua, Hailey, and their son Benjamin moved to Zagreb, Croatia in 2023 to live for many years while ministering to the people. On July 24th, 2024 they welcomed their daughter, Elowyn into the family. Their main goals are to strengthen, encourage, and disciple the people of Zagreb, a city with many young people and families. Driven by Jesus’s example of loving all people and serving them in practical and spiritual ways, the Woods are searching out opportunities for community development and raising up young people for Jesus.
